about Joe
I’ve been driven by my faith and a deep love for God’s people for as long as I can remember. At eight years old, I invited Jesus into my heart—and while I didn’t realize it at the time, that moment set the trajectory for my entire life. I said “yes” early, and God has been gracious enough to keep writing the story ever since.
From a young age, I sensed a clear call to ministry. By 16, while most of my friends were focused on cars and weekends, I stepped into the role of youth pastor and began learning what leadership, faith, and obedience really look like. That early start shaped my passion for encouraging others and helping people grow into who God has called them to be.
At the heart of everything I do is my life calling:
I am made to invigorate God’s people and church leadership.
I love encouraging pastors, strengthening leaders, and reminding the Church of its purpose and power. Hebrews 10:24 captures it well—“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” (Sometimes that spur comes through encouragement, sometimes through challenge, and occasionally through a well-timed laugh.)
I’m incredibly grateful for my wife and our four amazing children. They are my greatest earthly blessing and my daily reminder of grace, patience, and humility. We are a close-knit family, united by our shared commitment to follow Jesus and serve others—learning as we go and trusting God every step of the way.
My ministry journey has taken me around the world, where I’ve had the privilege of serving diverse communities and witnessing the transformative power of the gospel. Whether I’m playing on a worship team, preaching, coaching leaders, or engaging in outreach, I find joy in being a vessel for God’s love. As 2 Corinthians 4:7 says, “We have this treasure in jars of clay,” and I’m continually reminded that God does His best work through willing—not perfect—people.
I’m a lifelong learner, always seeking a deeper understanding of Scripture and the leading of the Holy Spirit. I believe wisdom and humility are essential for healthy ministry, and I take James 1:5 seriously—“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God.” I ask often.
When I’m not engaged in ministry, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family—exploring the outdoors, sharing meaningful conversations, and cheering one another on. Those moments keep me grounded and refuel my heart.
As I continue this journey, my commitment remains the same: to serve God, strengthen His Church, and help leaders walk confidently in their calling. With faith, joy, and a deep love for people, I’m dedicated to spreading God’s light and encouraging others to step boldly into all He has prepared for them—“for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14).
